I have been a loyal customer for well over 20 years now and have noticed a change in the quantity ( portions ) of the food as of recently . The prices have increased which is understandable when looking at inflation however , with the rise in price I would expect the same if not more of the portion size. Specifically , the schnitzel meal I ordered takeaway was half of its old size. It used to come with 1 and half schnitzels , double the veg and a full container of chips. Tonight’s meal did not match this description .

Great pub with good ambience. Beer was $8/schooner and they don't do pints. Food was great, huge portions. Some patrons leaving with doggy bags Staff not really they engaged on the Sunday lunchtime shift - talking amongst themselves alot. Overall good experience.

Great place for a beer and a meal.Always a nice place for families.Sports bar and an outdoor area for the smokers if you need it.

Brooky a great place to have a few scooners.the food is nice and you can cook your own steak which I feel is ok but kind of defeats the purpose of going for a meal.

I haven't been to Brookvale Hotel since the building of the apartments. What a shame the outdoor area and bbq are no longer there. It's a lot smaller and a bit weird having to walk through the tab section with children to get to the dining area. The food was lovely, arrived quick, but expensive. Staff were friendly and helpful, however, every glass I picked up for water and both my glasses of wine were stained with lipstick... I'm probably going a bit ott rn but that erks me. I know it's loreal lip infinity and the glasses are actually clean but if you have time to stand and chat behind the bar then you have time to polish your glasses. Didn't even try getting into the carpark, was lucky enough to squeeze into a spot out the front.
